MA221ADY 1/2-inch Preamplifier

MA221ADY is
1/2-inch single power supply preamplifier developed by BSWA, which is suitable
for MP series 1/2-inch pre-polarized microphones, and can also be used with a
dedicated adapter for 1/4-inch pre-polarized microphones.
The main function of the preamplifier is
impedance change, since the output impedance of the microphone is above GΩ, it
cannot be directly connected to the common data acquisition equipment. The high
input impedance and low output impedance of the preamplifier can reduce the
output impedance of the microphone to less than 100 Ω.
MA221ADY does not provide polarization voltage, so it is only applicable to
pre-polarized microphones. It powered by single power supply with built-in
low-pass filter, suitable for applications focused on low-frequency acoustic
measurement (the cut-off frequency of built-in low-pass filter can be modified
to meet the requirement of user application). The output signal has a bias
voltage of +2.5 V, suitable for analog-to-digital converter which also powered
by a single power supply.
MA221ADY is
designed as direct cable output with 1 m length of supplied cable. Users can
customize the wire length and output connector.
